Partnerships for Change supports following High Impact Educational Initiatives
- STEM Equity and Access Program
In the Bay Area’s tech hub, underserved youth in places like Bayview-Hunters Point lack access to quality STEM education, limiting their future. PFC plans to deliver coding bootcamps, robotics labs, and tech mentorship to support marginalized youth with skills for tech careers.
- Mental Health and Self-Esteem Curriculum
Bay Area youth face rising mental health challenges from academic and social pressures, needing tools to thrive. PFC plans to support integration of mindfulness and social-emotional learning into K-12 curriculum, and training teachers to support students in Bay Area schools. It would build confident, resilient students, ready for high-pressure environments.
- Environmental Education and Climate Action Labs
PFC plans to create climate labs for our youth with hands-on projects which would help improve their understanding of local climate challenges, while motivating them to become environmental leaders.
- Multilingual and Multicultural Education
Many Bay Area residents’ native language is other than English. PFC plans to introduce multi-lingual workshops and seminars for an inclusive, culturally responsive education for our youth, thus strengthening diverse communities and preparing our students for a global world.
- Inclusive Arts and Music Programs
PFC plans to launch inclusive music and arts programs in schools, serving our students with adaptive tools, inspired by our Benin initiatives. This would boost engagement and equity through artistic expression and help our students find their creative voice.
