Partnerships For Change® celebrates our Bhutan National Heritage Foundation launch.
In collaboration with Dr. Ingrid Jordt, acclaimed Burma scholar and Harvard trained anthropologist, PFC is honored to be involved in preserving the rich and treasured cultural heritage of neighboring country, Bhutan. Most recently, Dr. Jordt visited Aung San Suu Kyi, Burma’s pro-democracy leader, Noble Peace Laureate, renowned hero and human rights activist. Dr. Jordt has appeared as her spokesperson on many media outlets and facilitated a video conference call with Aung San Suu Kyi at the 2012 Noble Peace Prize Forum. In addition to continuing our work in Burma, PFC, Dr. Jordt and her daughter, Nurit Jordt, will work with Bharat Rana of the Royal Thimpu College (RTC), Bhutan’s first private college to protect and preserve parks, schools, buildings and monasteries.
